New Blog :)
January 22, 2012
Hey Guys :)
An exciting little week for me, I got to do 2 sittings that I absolutely loved and they were on the best customers :) bonus! And on top of that, I had a session with my dad, so the first tattoo I have had in 2012 was a sitting on my elbow and under arm! I’m loving my arm, so big big thanks dad almost done :)
Mon 16th Jan - This was a long awaited sitting, as it was the last session on Dave Sweeties awesome skull and rose leg piece! I have been looking forward to getting this finished, as up to this point, the roses had been left, and Daves’ only ‘must have’ was purple roses! So I started with adding the different shades of purple to each section of the roses, which I think just made the tattoo really pop :D then I decided to add a second, much darker shade of green in sections of the leaves – they definitely needed a bit more definition… and then we were done! I was sad to see the end of this sitting, as tattooing Dave sweetie is always fab, but it was so good to see the tattoo completed! I was over the moon with how it looked, and Dave was chuffed so I couldn’t be happier! Thanks for picking such a cool tattoo idea Dave :-) x
Tue 17th Jan – So this sitting was the first session on a good friend and customer of the shop, Mr Matt DVD :) Matt wanted a skull design with the 4 Ace’s around, dice scroll, and mist. Once I got it drawn up, Matt was excited, so I got started on the outline! Matt wanted it on the back of his calf, which was a great choice as it was a perfect fit :) After doing the outline, I sculpted the parts that were needed and then began with the water shading! I enjoy shading so so much – it just feels like the best thing in the world, you totally get sucked in and get on a roll – I don’t even think I was talking I was that engrossed, and that, to all who know me is saying something, as I never shut up ! ha. After the skull, I did the surrounding shading and dice and unfortunately for me, the time had flown by! I was gutted to finish this sitting, as I was enjoying it so much and Matt has an ace idea to make this tattoo really come alive! :) I was so happy with how the tattoo is looking, and I had such beautiful kind words off Matt, who had a massive grin that I couldn’t stop smiling!! Thank you so much Matt – you have a brilliant way with words that fills people with happiness! A great pleasure to tattoo you! I can’t wait till the next session :)
Well thats it from me for this week guys, but another three sittings to fill you in on next week so keep following the blog :)
much love x catch ya later x

1st Blog of 2012 :)
January 16, 2012
Hey guys, so we’re back in work now after our break over Christmas. Happy New Year to everyone :) So for those of you who don’t know, both Chris and I are charging half price for tattoos, which is very exciting ! If anyone would like to get something from us, pop into the shop and we can get you booked in :)
Mon 9th Jan – So this was my 1st tattoo of the year and I couldn’t wait :) I got to tattoo a set of wings around a portrait that Nick (my Dad) had done on a customers forearm. After aligning the transfers, I outlined the tattoo, then moved on to shading them using a new machine handed down to me by my dad :) It was so good to tattoo again, I really enjoyed it, and after completing the tattoo, was really happy with how it turned out :) Ryan, the customer, was super happy too so smiles all round :)
Tue 10th Jan – This was a funky design on my friend and customer Pricey. He brought me a wooden mask he wanted on his leg, so after drawing it up, we got started. After finishing with the outline and small detail work on the forehead and cheeks, I began the black sections. I then coloured in sections with darker and lighter shades of green and red. I was gutted I had to finish this sitting without finishing the tattoo, but I was excited with how its looking so far, and I can’t wait to see it completed in the next sitting :) Pricey was loving how his tattoo was coming along, so roll on next sitting :)
Sun 15th Jan – Another cool sitting with Tim blue flames :) I love tattooing Tim, its always a giggle and swapping stories just makes the time fly ! So as you can see from the pics, I have finally finished colouring in all the darker shade of blue! This is one hell of a tattoo for me, as its my 1st sort of sleeve and its taking hrs and hrs but I’m loving it and I so cant wait to see how its going to look after adding all the extra shades etc :) Its going to be a long ride but definitely worth it :)
Well that’s it from me this week. Next week, I’ll have two more tattoo sessions to tell you all about, so until next time :) I cant wait :)
Catch ya later

Last Blog Of The Year!!
December 22, 2011
Hey guys, so this is my last blog for this year :( I’m definitely going to miss the studio and tattooing, but really looking forward to some time off :D
Mon 19th Dec – So this night I was super excited as it was the first time I had two appt one after the another :) So my 1st appt was Pricey’s last sitting on his penguin on a skateboard. There wasn’t too much to do, just the last finishing touches of colour. Red beak, orange on top of the head, pink feet, green in the wheels and then a bit of water shading on the tummy – then he was done :) I was over the moon with how this cute little tattoo ended up looking :)

My second appt was the last sitting on Dave’s skull and wings on his stomach ! I was nervous before I started, because I know it was a hell of a tender area to get tattooed last time, and I didn’t want to hurt him, but once I started, Dave said it wasn’t too bad and I really enjoyed the session ! I got to do what I think is my favourite type of tattooing so far – which is shading ! I just love it and time just flies, you get sucked into what you are doing to the point that when I finished, it I was like oh my gosh I did it :P haha
Tue 20th Dec – This session was another sitting on Tim’s blue flames on his leg. So not unlike my last sitting with Tim, this was another full session on filling in the centre of the flames. I had done wrapping around his leg in the darker of my shades of blue. Bit by bit you see its coming along, but this is one tattoo that will take alot more sessions to complete. It will be worth all of the work in the end, and I thank Tim for being patient with me.
I just want to say a massive thanks to all the guys this week you’re all a great giggle to tattoo, and sit perfectly, so thanks for being my last tattoos of this year ! :)
Lastly, I would just like to say a Big ‘Happy Christmas’ to you all, and hope you all have a wicked New Year ! And thanks to everyone at Wrexham Ink for making my 1st full year there so awesome !!!
Catch ya next year everyone!
xxxxxxxx
